Road trips are supposed to be fun and sunny and happy, but vitally they end in some type of vehicular malfunction in a strange sleepy town you've never heard of, much less know your way around. Welcome to Travelers Rest. If you get stuck in Cleveland, Ohio, you'll find that you need a hunting license to catch mice. In a small town in Washington, lollipops are banned, and yet another town named Belmont banned music from the city limits. Yet even another town requires you to stop and call City Hall before entering town in a car. Like most towns, Travelers Rest has its own quirky laws, but the biggest has to be one that affects all travelers: once you enter, you can never leave…unmarried. What? That's right, ladies and gentlemen, the price of staying in Travelers Rest is a marriage, arranged for you by the town council itself. With the new chapel, you can be in and out in a jiffy…with a lovely husband or wife by your side. And if you refuse...well, a hefty fine and perhaps some jail time will be visited on you. Really, you must be engaged at the very least. But wait… The marriages here aren't like any other marriages, though; these marriages are as strange as the town, though to most townies they're the norm. Guys marry guys and gals marry gals, just like it's always been in Travelers Rest. Did we say welcome enough?

They say every mental hospital has a dark secret. Sometimes it's ghosts of the past. Maybe there was a fire beforehand. Maybe the staff mistreats their patients, or the patients break loose to go on a killing spree. South Pacific Private isn't like that. Each patient has a roommate and a nurse to watch over them. Visitors are allowed on family days. The mental hospital has an outstanding reputation of perfection and healing, perfect for nearly any case. So many might ask, what is wrong, exactly, with South Pacific Private? The answer…nothing. Nothing, that is…except for the darkness that lives beneath the hospital. Things are different here, at second glance. People without families disappear into the tunnels beneath. It is not uncommon for the staff to become patients here, or even for patients to become staff. There are even rumors of a mysterious fifth floor to building, though no one can seem to find an entrance. So you see, there is nothing wrong with South Pacific Private. We're just a little...different. Are you better off a patient? Or will you be part of the hospital staff? Either way, things are sure to be...interesting.PLOT~RULES~APPLICATION~JOIN
