A great man once said "I know I'm asking a lot. But the price of freedom is high. It always has been. And it's a price I'm willing to pay. And if I'm the only one, then so be it. But I'm willing to bet I'm not." He was right.
After enduring many years of failure, loss, and ultimate humiliation, Hydra has come up with a new plan to end things once and for. It’s called ‘Plan Merge’. It starts with a machine. Never seen to the world, the machine has remained underground as a large number of Hydra workers put their days in to build it to it’s capacity. It took many years, many sacrifices, and far too many lives, to create the machine-but it was done. The machine held many capacities, but it’s greatest was the ability to merge all the heroes worlds into one. The machine went beyond the work of coding, and machinery. Some say it holds the spirits of elder Hydra leaders, some say it’s powered by parasite entity from the great beyond, but no one knows just how the machine has the power to shift the very fabric of the universe. But as unstoppable as this machine might sound, it was not. It needed three things to run.
The first thing it needed was chaos. This was step one of the Hydra plan. Lower level Hydra villains were sent into the world to cause mayhem, to bring as much destruction as possible, even if it cost them their life. The machine absorbed this chaos, making it’s power stronger. Next it needed darkness, and everyone had it. Every villain, every human, every hero. And as time goes on, this darkness grows. Every time a hero loses a loved one, every time a power is lost, every time a villain wins. The darkness that forms in the hearts of the heroes continues to be absorbed by the machine. This gives the machine the ability to warp the universe into Hydra’s own wishes.
Lastly, it needed energy. Mass energy. A machine so strong needs enough power to keep it running. This is the final step of the plan. Absorb all heroes of their powers, so when they fall into their new world, they are left powerless against the brute force of the Hydra. But this step of the plan is incomplete. There was a glitch in the machine, a tear in the universe, and now our heroes are coming, with their powers. Now heroes are entering a new world, with new allies, new enemies, but most of all, a new story. Join us as you make your own story, and conquer the heights of your power as you fight to defeat Hydra once and for all.
Things will not be easy. Light will turn to dark, bonds will break, and heroes will fall. It’s up to you if you get up.
